Makeup and Beauty Blog Monday Poll, Vol. 346 - Makeup and Beauty Blog
You might be wondering, "And then what in tarnation is this Monday Poll thing anyway!?"
Well, it isn't exactly a poll. It's more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random listing of questions I've been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past seven years. (Information technology'due south like a kickstart for your brain.) I've ever enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you savor reading mine.
- Something that saves you time when yous're getting ready in the morning?
Curling my pilus and/or doing a blowout early Mon morn, which usually takes me virtually a one-half an 60 minutes, so that all I accept to do the rest of the week is touch up my roots with a little dry shampoo (I'm really lovin' this ane from Living Proof, BTW) and rapidly castor information technology through.Saves me a TON of time to not have to manner my pilus on a daily ground. Plus, in that weirdly icky, ironic hair way, I think my hair looks better every bit it gets grungier throughout the week.
- Cheesecake or pie?
Pie all 24-hour interval, every solar day, son! Delight make mine pecan with a large scoop of whipped cream on top. Thank you kindly. 🙂 - Would you rather read a romance, or a mystery?
Hmm… OK, how about a young adult romantic mystery??LOL! Only seriously, probably a mystery, merely it'southward gotta exist lighthearted and fun. I can't get into books that are too heavy or serious these days.
- What's the weather condition like today?
Oh, my gosh! It's raining!! It's cold, completely overcast and lightly raining. It was pouring last night and this morning time, and we had some loud, long thunder and lightning. Poor Tabs was terrified! He was staring out 1 of the windows when the thunder struck, and it scared him so badly that he leapt in the air and started coughing! 🙁
I think he may have choked for minute, only he seems OK now.
- When was the last time you wore a uniform?
If we're defining "compatible" in the strictest sense of the word, so it was probably my band uniform dorsum in high school, and good grief that thing was hideous! Ruffles and a huge, sick-plumbing equipment saucepan hat just ain't beautiful. But if we're using the looser, more than usual definition of "uniform," then it was probably about eight or ix years agone when I worked every bit a legal banana in a tall edifice in downtown SF.
I pretty much wore a slightly unlike version of the same thing every day — black pants, black shirt, blackness shoes.
Eh, it was easy, and I didn't desire to think too hard.

Good morning, sugariness friend! It's a stormy day here in Northern California.
Wanna hear something kind of random…? I just noticed that I tin't sit down equally shut to my desk-bound as I used to because of Baby Girl and my stomach.
Yup, and my keyboard feels so far abroad… LOL! I know I keep saying this, just that's because I'm constantly shocked: Babe Daughter is getting ginormous! I was staring at my tum the other dark, and she kicked and then hard that I actually saw the pare move.
It was both delightful and freaky at the same time.
In other random news, I made a loaf of banana bread last nighttime, and it'southward already almost gone. El Hub and I tore into that thing with a fierceness!
The recipe came from MBB reader Rachel R.'southward hubby (thanks very much, y'all guys!), and it was effing deliciously light, cake-like and moist. Cheers again, Rachel, for sharing it!
